WRESTLING SUPERSTARS - LIVE! TO APPEAR AT YAVAPAI COLLEGE

Wrestling’s Greatest Superstars Headline April 6th Professional Wrestling Event in Prescott

Prescott, AZ - Get the adrenaline pumping, WRESTLING SUPERSTARS - LIVE!, self described as a cross between MTV and the WWF, will shake the roof off of Yavapai College’s Performance Hall featuring music, mayhem and more Saturday, April 6, 2002.

The event kick’s off with an autograph session at 6:30 p.m. for all ticket holders, followed by the live, television style action starting at 7:30 p.m hosted by FX Tough Man‘s Justin Roberts. This years all-star line-up includes MTV/WWF Tough Enough Superstar Josh Mathews, WWF Superstar The Honky Tonk Man, World Champion “The Underwear Model” Eric Priest, World Tag-Team Champion’s Native Blood, Arizona’s own “The Outlaw’s”, WWF’s Mean Street Posse, Former WWF World Champion The Patriot, Lucha Libra Superstar La Parka vs. El Conquistador in a looser must remove their mask match, the deadly Sinn and a surprise celebrity appearance!

From the time he was old enough to walk, MTV/WWF Tough Enough’s Josh Mathews knew he wanted to walk in the steps of televisions greatest Professional Wrestling Superstars. Fast forward 20 years later and Josh is impressing audiences worldwide. With a style that immolates his favorite wrestler Rob Van Dam, Josh is quickly gaining wins over some of wrestling’s biggest Superstars with his own version of a top rope “frog splash”. With charming good looks and a positive attitude, Josh continues to prove why he really is “tough enough” to make a big name for himself in and out of the ring. He’s on his way to Prescott’s Yavapai College Saturday, April 6, 2002.

He calls himself the “greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time” and considering that he held the title for 15 months, longest in WWF history, his claims could very well be true. He’s the Honky Tonk Man, known for his wielding guitar, and more specifically his usage of it. His attacks on such stars as Jake “The Snake” Roberts, Hulk Hogan and the Ultimate Warrior are infamous, as are his tag-team days with Greg “The Hammer” Valentine as part of Rhythm & Blues. The Honky Tonk Man promises to shake, rattle and roll his way to another victory in Prescott.

Drawing on his pop star good looks and aggressive aerial artistry, “The Underwear Model” Eric Priest became the youngest ever World Champion, a championship rich in legend and history in Chicago, Illinois on June 3, 2001. At the young, yet experienced age of 26, Eric Priest is in good company with former champions Nick Bockwinkel, Verne Gagne and Jerry “The King” Lawler. People are saying that “The Underwear Model” could very well be the next WWF Superstar “The Rock”. When Eric Priest flaunts his best, winning is always in fashion.

As America continues to look for hero's, Native Blood has stepped forward and continues to exceed the challenge. The newly formed duo features two very popular Native American Superstars. Native Blood's excitement in the ring has been compared to other Native American Superstars including Chief Jay Strongbow, Wahoo McDaniel and Tatanka.

In and out of the ring, the veteran Navajo Warrior and the youthful Ghostwalker, are nothing less than professional. Keeping community ties a priority, you'll often see Native Blood at area schools
encouraging students to stay in school and to say no to drugs. If you're looking for pure excitement,
don't miss Native Blood in tag-team competition as they face Arizona’s own combination of Hollywood and the Outlaw Knox, collectively “The Outlaws”.
